Hundreds of people welcomed the iX2, the new electric compact car from BMW which arrives at the dealership on March 3, at the brand's headquarters in via Salaria, in Rome.
A recently renovated space, pioneering the new showroom concept in Italy.
"Almost a fashion store - underlined the president and CEO of BMW Italia, Massimiliano Di Silvestre - which must fascinate the customer, a place to live a unique experience. A point of arrival after an initial approach through one's own device, in a unique path which combines the digital with the real. The promise of the pleasure of driving is no longer enough - he underlined -, our ambition becomes joy, that is, an immersive and sensorial, modern experience".
And it is certainly no coincidence that the slogan of the evening is Make itreal: this second generation of BMW of the model.
It is a versatile SportsActivity Coupé, which stands out in the premium compact segment, and which presents a decidedly more marked silhouette than the previous generation, with a strengthened presence on the road.
Renovated technology and interiors, with sporty performance.
The dimensions of the vehicle have also grown, and it now has an even sportier soul.
"The shape of the car - Di Silvestre continued - follows the experience of the driver. And technology helps in giving joy, also by welcoming people into renovated structures like this one".
"The transformation of a place - underlined Salvatore Nanni, CEO of BMW Roma - which becomes a destination, with a warm atmosphere and cars as design objects".
The soirée opened with a monologue by Giorgio Pasotti on the journey between real and digital and animated by DJ sets, the performance of the electric violin quartet and the presence of Beppe Fiorello, Lavinia Biagiotti, Ernesto D'Argenio and Jimmy Ghione.
