A few weeks before Christmas, a 43-year-old man met a teenage girl virtually on a teenage chat platform.
He only knows her first name, Louise, and her age, 14 years old.
She does not send him a photo but agrees, at his request, to provide him with a physical description.
In return, the man compliments her and quickly progresses on the seduction register.
After a few days, his words become very explicit.
He writes that he wants to have sex with her and offers her a detailed scenario including the type of acts and positions he would like to practice.
The teenager lives about a hundred kilometers from him and is very hesitant.
To convince her, he offers to pay for her train ticket and pick her up at the Reims station (Marne).
The sexual relationship must take place at home.
The meeting is set for December 21.
In the end, nothing goes as planned.
Instead of finding this teenager who has become the object of his dark desire, he is arrested by the police and placed in police custody.
Louise didn't get on a train.
Besides, she didn't really exist.
Her profile and the numerous written messages she sent to her interlocutor were the work of a gendarme specially trained to carry out “investigations under a pseudonym”.
