Characterized by very short charging times (up to 400 kilometers in 16 minutes) and an autonomy of up to 840 km, the premium electric cars from the Californian manufacturer Lucid are ready to support further expansion in Europe alongside the four markets - Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Norway - where it is already present.
Lucid's presence at the Geneva International Motor Show should be seen in this strategy, where three new products were exhibited that will strengthen the 100% electric range for Europe.
Under the spotlight at Palexpò the seven-seater SUV Gravity, the new rear-wheel drive variant of the Air Pure (entry model sold for 85 thousand euros in Germany) and the incredible Air Sapphire with 1,251 HP and 330 km/h top speed.
Gravity, which will enter production at the end of 2024, is - according to Lucid - the luxury electric SUV of tomorrow.
Based on an all-new dual-engine platform, Gravity offers enough space for 7 adults, including luggage, with the added bonus of a truly luxurious and comfortable cabin.
Inside which stands out a 34-inch mobile screen with 6K display.
Thanks to a power of over 800 HP, Gravity accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3.5 seconds and has a WLTP range of over 700 km.
Lucid Air Pure Rwd is the champion model in terms of efficiency.
It does this with an energy consumption of just 13.0 kWh/100 km according to WLTP.
With a maximum power of 442 HP, it can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and has a range of up to 747 km.
Finally, the 'monster' Air Sapphire (250 thousand euros in Germany) which combines cutting-edge technology with the quality of life on board typical of Lucids.
Thanks to three Air Sapphire engines for a total of 1,251 HP, Air Sapphire brings electric performance to the highest level with a 0-100 time of around 2 seconds and a maximum speed of 330 km/h.
Specific features of this hyper-sedan with 700 km of WLTP autonomy (which is also offered in the characteristic Stealth matte color) are the driving system with four driving modes, the carbon-ceramic brakes, a special aerodynamic package and the suspensions which provide also an adjustment for the track.
