More than 3,000 rounds of ammunition and 72 firearms... This is what the gendarmes found in Alain Delon's property in Douchy (Loiret) during a search carried out on February 22, according to a precise count communicated by the Montargis prosecutor's office this Tuesday, confirming information revealed in our columns on Monday.
The first investigations indicate that the actor, aged 88 and seriously ill, “did not have any authorization allowing him to possess a firearm”, contrary to what we initially mentioned.
An investigation was opened for illegal possession of weapons, acquisition and illegal possession of category A, B and C weapons. This comes in a context of tensions between Alain Delon's children.

Why was a search carried out?
On February 8, the Montargis public prosecutor's office received "a report from the guardianship judge stating the possession of a firearm by Alain Delon", explains the Montargis prosecutor, Jean-Cédric Gaux, in a press release on Tuesday.
This possession was noted during “a trip by the agent seized of the judicial protection measure”, specifies the magistrate.
Since the end of January, the actor, weakened, has been placed under judicial protection, a legal representative is responsible for assisting Alain Delon in his medical follow-up.
Following this report, a preliminary investigation was opened and entrusted to the Orléans research section, continues the Montargis prosecutor.
The tense context between Alain Delon's children and concerns about the actor's fragile state of health have undoubtedly pushed the justice system to prevent the slightest risk.

The first investigations made it possible to highlight that the actor “did not benefit from any authorization allowing him to hold a firearm”, underlines Jean-Cédric Gaux.
With authorization from the judge of freedoms and detention, investigators therefore carried out a search of Alain Delon's home on Thursday February 22.
What exactly did the police find?
During their search, the gendarmes got their hands on 72 firearms, including shooting weapons, in particular categories A (certain firearms and war materials) and B (weapons used for sports shooting and those used in cases of professional risk), and collector's weapons, as well as more than 3,000 ammunition, detailed the Montargis prosecutor.
They also noted “the existence of a shooting range on the property”.
“My client is very worried to know that Alain Delon is being kept without medical treatment with weapons nearby,” Yassine Bouzrou, the lawyer for Hiromi Rollin, the woman who presents herself as the actor's partner, told us on Monday. and accused by the latter's children of having control over their father.
The Delon clan's passion for firearms
In a recent interview with Elle, Anouchka Delon, the actor's daughter, detailed her father's passion for firearms, indicating that he has "a whole collection."
Anouchka Delon added that her brothers, when they are in Douchy, “walk around the house armed”, believing they are
“in the Wild West”.
Statements which made Anthony Delon, the eldest of the siblings, react strongly.
