The singer Yishai Rivo published a message on his Instagram account today (Tuesday) following the calls for a protest against his show near Harvard University, telling his supporters that he intends to hold the show anyway.
"Good morning friends, we are here in the United States. We woke up not long ago to a lot of messages we received regarding the show that, with God's help, will take place this evening in Boston at Harvard University for the dear Jewish students, and you must have heard about all kinds of rumors that are caused by some and others who want to prevent us from fulfilling this basic need to come and give strength to the students To our brothers and sisters, but here we are standing firm and we intend to come with all our strength, to get stronger together, to be happy together. And that's it, in addition I want to thank you for your great support and all the messages and love and cheering," Rivo said, "Let's hope that everything will turn out for the best. The affair began when the employees of the Sinclair Music Hall near the prestigious Harvard University announced the boycott of a Rivo show that was expected to be held there tonight (between Tuesday and Wednesday).

In addition, posts about other performances in the hall were filled with hateful comments against him and Israel. Among other things, it was written, for example, "You are hosting a fundraising evening for a country which killed thirty thousand people in the last months", "Don't raise donations for genocide" and the like.

The organizers of the show described this as the action of "Jew-hating and anti-Israeli voices".
"Yeshi [Rivo] is a man who embodies love and peace," the Chabad Harvard Instagram page reads, "This evening was created to lift the spirits of the Israeli and Jewish students who suffer from anti-Semitism on college campuses. Love, peace and music will prevail.
