A three-year-old girl, taken to hospital in serious condition after a fire in her home in Le Havre (Seine-Maritime) on the night of Monday to Tuesday, died Tuesday afternoon, the Le Havre prosecutor's office, confirming information from 76actu and BFM Normandie.
The fire broke out in the family home around 3 a.m.
The little girl was discovered unresponsive in her room by firefighters, according to local media reports.
She was in cardiorespiratory arrest when she was transported to the Caen hospital center.
