Australian police yesterday (Tuesday) found the bodies of TV presenter Jesse Baird and his partner flight attendant Luke Davis, inside a surfboard cover, about 180 kilometers south of Sydney.

This is four days after a senior police officer, Bo Lamar-Condon, was charged with their murder.

According to the indictment, Officer Lamar-Condon shot the couple at Baird's home nine days ago, and moved the bodies at a later date.

The police claim that Lamar-Condon acted alone in both the murder and the disposal of the bodies.

After he was arrested, he agreed to help the police find the location of their bodies.

According to publications, Lamar-Condon committed the murder because of his unrequited feelings for TV presenter Baird.

Baird's friends told foreign media that there was no relationship between the two.

A TV producer told ABC that "Jesse had a brief fling with Lamar-Condon but he wasn't his ex-boyfriend. They never dated."

Another person, a former friend of Baird's, claimed Mar-Condon and Baird were friends but the broadcaster had to end the relationship with the officer after he posted videos on Instagram that falsely implied he was dating the broadcaster.

He said that he helped Baird draft a message to Lamar-Condon last November, in which he informs him of the end of their friendship: "I would appreciate it if you would refrain from contacting me."
