According to carnewschina.com, the YangWang U9 has been launched on the Chinese market and will be sold, in a single version, at the equivalent price of around 218,000 euros.
It is a Blade battery electric supercar, lithium iron phosphate, based on the e4 platform and equipped with BYD's Disus X suspension system.
Almost 5 meters long, the U9 has an important weight for a car of its category, given that it weighs almost 2,500 kg, but thanks to the presence of 4 electric motors, it reaches a power of 1287 HP and can count on a maximum torque of 1,680 Nm. Values that allow it, according to carnewschina.com, to cover the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.36 seconds, and to cover the quarter mile, or 400 m from a standing start, in 9, 78 seconds.
The maximum speed of 309.19 km/h is also high.
The new Chinese car uses an 80 kWh battery pack to obtain a range of 465 km, while the maximum charging power reaches 500 kW to recover from 30 to 80% of energy in 10 minutes.
