“It shakes a lot.

» After the attempted burglary of which he was the victim during the night from Wednesday to Thursday, TF1 presenter Jean-Luc Reichmann testified at the microphone of RTL.

“It’s very psychologically shaking, for my wife, my children and myself, because it’s psychologically exhausting,” he says, adding that he “avoided the worst.”

“There were six of us in the house,” recalls the presenter.

Since the children are above and we are below, at some point there would have been a conflict.

There's the dog downstairs on the ground floor.

So, inevitably, there would have been some unfriendly things.

We avoided all that.

» He admits not knowing how he could have reacted to the burglars.

“Congratulations to the police force”

Five individuals were arrested after being seen climbing the gate of the host's property in Neuilly-sur-Seine, in Hauts-de-Seine.

They were put to flight by Jean-Luc Reichmann's son, alerted by a light in the courtyard.

BAC police officers, who quickly arrived on the scene, saw the burglars fleeing.

After a chase, the five suspects were finally arrested in Épinay-sur-Seine.

Jean-Luc Reichmann praised the work of the police and spoke of investigations “thoroughly carried out thanks to all the surveillance cameras and everything we have at home”.

“Congratulations to the police forces who are doing a crazy job,” added the man who plays a police officer on screen in the series broadcast on TF1 “Léo Mattéï, Brigade of Minors”.

The host also highlights the civic gesture of one of his neighbors who “had the decency to call 17 because he had seen a suspicious car”.

Jean-Luc Reichmann had already reassured his community on social networks by publishing a message on his X account (ex-Twitter) Thursday evening.

“Last night we were victims of an attempted intrusion into our home.

We are shocked, but we are fine.

Great respect to all the Security and Police services for the efficiency you have demonstrated.
