For the 2024 F1 season, the official safety car is the new Aston Martin Vantage.
It is a car fully equipped to lead the 20 single-seaters of the top formula on the formation lap, and ready to come into action in case of interruptions, to control the pace of the race.

The English sports car, to better carry out its task, shows off enhanced and modified aerodynamics under the floor.
Furthermore, it features an extended front splitter, a new rear wing, and an FIA headlight bar with a new aerodynamic profile on the roof.
The cockpit has been modified with specific seats to offer maximum support to the safety car driver, Bernd Mayländer, and his passenger.
The center console has gained switches for operating the FIA systems, while the screens show the lap times and track positioning of all cars.
Under its intriguing shapes, the Vantage in safety car format hides the hand-built 4.0 Twin-Turbo V8 engine, which can count on a 30% increase in power compared to the previous model.
The car has not been modified in terms of the engine, the cooling system, or the braking system, given the great basic potential.
