Panic, boredom, and a lot of humor: Meta's social networks - Facebook, Instagram and Threads - collapsed this evening (Tuesday) for more than an hour.
The glitch caused frustration among millions of users around the world, who were unable to log in to the account, but also spawned a wave of amusing reactions on the social networks that remained active.
That is, mainly one network - Twitter (ex).
Among the prominent reactions is a tweet from Elon Musk, the owner of the competing social network, who wrote: "If you see this post, it means our servers are working."
At the same time, Musk tweeted a post mocking Meta spokesperson Andy Stone's decision to post a reference to the crash via a tweet.
