Will Kevin, 28, be judged?
This is the question that the Court of Cassation will have to answer after the hearing which is being held this Wednesday and during which the high court will delve into a case almost 6 years old.
Kévin, police officer who killed Romain Chenevat in the exercise of his duties, 26 years old at the time of the events on August 14, 2018, benefited from a dismissal before the investigating chamber on November 3, 2022 after the judges of instructions decided to refer him to the Assize Court for “intentional violence leading to death without intention of causing it” thus following the final indictment of the Paris prosecutor's office.
Incomprehensible for those close to Romain who decided on this appeal.
