The WinteRace 2024, one of the most prestigious classic car races, registered in the ASI calendar under the name of the Circolo Veneto Auto e Moto d'Epoca Giannino Marzotto, kicks off on Friday 8 March from Cortina d'Ampezzo.

The declared objective of the eleventh edition is to build an ideal bridge between vintage cars and those that will be their heirs in the near future: special vehicles, produced in limited series and therefore all the more precious from a stylistic point of view, included in the Icon category.

These are 20 special cars (including Aston Martin, Lamborghini and Porsche) that will compete together with 50 historic cars of particular value such as Fiat 509 and Coppad'Oro, Bugatti T35, Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint, Lancia Aurelia, Porsche 356 and many others.

There will also be a ranking dedicated to father-son teams: many parents have in fact managed to involve their offspring in learning about what are still cars far more exciting than today's household appliances intended for mass mobility.

A first step towards the birth of a new cultural awareness.

The race route includes 400 kilometers of typically Alpine roads and passes (from Falzarego to Gardena to Giau), divided into two stages on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th March.

Severe routes for the "grandmothers", also interspersed with parades in Cortina, Moena and Pieve di Cadore to involve the (usually large) public in the culture of these who are true "cultural heritage traveling on four-wheels", as explained by the organizers of the WinteRace Rossella Labate and Stefano Sangalli.
