How did this Mazda CX-5 end up in this situation?
The internet is currently puzzling over this.

The police posted pictures of a strange accident on Facebook - without explaining what happened.
Now the internet is wondering why the Mazda SUV fell on its side.
If you look at pictures of accidents, you can often determine what probably happened.
Maybe a tire burst can be seen on the vehicle, or maybe the road in the photos is obviously slippery due to ice and snow and the driver was simply traveling too fast.
Sometimes the process is completely inexplicable - as was the case with an extremely strange accident in the USA.
The internet is now puzzling over how the SUV got into this predicament.
Mazda CX-5 lies on its side in drive-thru: “Life happens, but coffee helps.”
A drive-in entrance with a few orange warning cones in front of it and a Mazda CX-5 lying on its side.
What happened here?
This is what many Facebook users are currently asking themselves.
The police in Londonderry (US state of New Hampshire) published photos of the incident (can be found below) - but without much additional information.
All that can be read there is that fortunately no one was injured in the accident.
And a somewhat nebulous saying: “Life happens, but coffee helps.” Aha.

Overturned Mazda – “I wanted to see how it behaved on a test drive”
Well, the drive-in obviously belongs to a Dunkin' Donuts branch - and from the police post it can be concluded that the driver probably wanted to grab a coffee there.
However, you don't read anything about the accident.
However, users naturally wondered what could have happened in the drive-in.
In the comments under the Facebook post, numerous users present their - mostly not entirely serious - theories:
“I wanted to see how it behaved on a test drive.”
“And I thought, I look forward to my coffee in the morning.”
“Maybe this is a new way to park.”
“Someone probably wanted their coffee as quickly as possible.”
“The poor car fell asleep before it could have its morning cup of coffee.”
“Was someone on the phone?”
“Zoom Zoom?”
Did a post “catapult” the SUV?
But there is also a theory that could possibly go in the right direction: In one of the police photos you can see a yellow post sticking out of the ground.
The driver may have missed this - and the car was “catapulted” onto its side.
Not long ago, a donut delivery driver landed his Toyota in a pond - the GPS was supposedly to blame.

Sparkling clean underbody: Was the SUV involved in the accident brand new?
And there is another thing that concerns the “network detectives” – namely the condition of the car.
The Mazda CX-5 looks brand new, as can be seen from the completely intact and clean underbody.
It also looks like the car doesn't have any "real" license plates, just some kind of dealer's plate on the front.
After this accident, the main question that arises is whether the driver really needed another coffee - or perhaps a calming tea.
