The category of small family jeeps continues to increase in price to around NIS 150,000, adding up to an increase of about NIS 20,000 in two years.
The Skoda importer, Champion Motors, began marketing the renewed Kamik, which became more expensive by NIS 2,500 to NIS 7,000.
The price of the Kamik now starts at NIS 141,000, compared to NIS 146,000 for the competing Peugeot 2008 with a 1,200 cc engine and from NIS 151,000 for the Toyota Yaris Cross hybrid, after the import of the cheaper gasoline version stopped. Comparative

Externally, the differences are focused on the front, back and rims, with a slightly more Jeep design.
In the passenger cabin, the differences are a little more significant: an 8.25 digital dashboard has been added already in the base version, physical control buttons have been added in the climate control to save wandering between screens that requires taking your eyes off the road, and an updated 8-inch multimedia screen.
There is no change in the drive units: 1,000 cc turbo gasoline 115 hp, or 1,500 cc and 150 hp, both with dual clutch robotic box, 7 gears.

The names of the trim levels have changed:
Selection is now the base version (NIS 141,000 with the 1,000 cc engine, NIS 154,000 with the 1,500 cc).
The equipment includes light 16-inch rims, 8-inch multimedia with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay coupling, 8-inch digital dashboard, keyless drive, climate control with exit to the rear seat and rear parking sensors, rain and lighting.
Selection Style (NIS 156,000 for the small engine), upgrades to light 17-inch rims and a 10.25-inch digital dashboard, and adds an electric trunk door, front parking sensors, a reverse camera and a driving mode selector.
A dead zone warning was added to the safety equipment as standard.
There is also autonomous emergency braking in forward and reverse travel, active cruise control and lane departure correction.
