According to information from the online investigative media, the fifty-year-old learned on Friday that a sentence enforcement judge (JAP) had just decided to partially revoke his suspended sentence in an old case, known as “Vendôme Trading”: an organized VAT scam, to the detriment of the State of Denmark, dating back 25 years ago.
Obligations not respected
Marco Mouly was sentenced for these acts in 2019 to three years in prison, on condition of paying a fine of 15,000 euros to the Public Treasury, finding a job and submitting to examination measures. psychological.
The judge, based on an investigation by the Brigade for the Repression of Economic Delinquency (BRDE) of the Paris police headquarters, considered that these obligations had not been respected.
In detail, his permanent employment as a community manager in a company called I-Trade was described as “fictitious” in the judgment and he must still repay 11,500 euros of the 15,000 euros fine claimed.
The magistrate therefore ordered a revocation of his suspended sentence of 18 months in prison, with immediate effect.

Learning of this decision, Marco Mouly contacted Mediapart to announce that he was going on the run.
