Owning a super sports car is the dream of many.

'Bugattimaki' can afford this.

How expensive this dream is can be seen at the gas station.

For most car fans, a super sports car remains an unattainable dream.

But for some it comes true.

This group also includes the TikTok user “Bugattimaki”, whose real name is Marinko Marjanovic.

The 27-year-old from Munich calls several luxury cars his own.

Including a Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport Carbon (purchase price around 3.57 million euros).

And it uses a lot of fuel, as Marjanovic reveals on TikTok.

In a seven-second video, the Munich native answers a question that many car fans have probably asked themselves: How far can a Bugatti Chiron go on one tank of fuel?

The answer: 100 kilometers!

And they cost the 27-year-old a whopping 200 euros - just for fuel.

Bugatti Chiron consumes 100 liters per 100 kilometers: “Isn’t there an eco mode?”

The super sports car's tank holds 100 liters and Marjanovic fills up with premium 102 octane petrol for 2,139 euros.

This of course drives up the price.

And apparently the TikToker doesn't travel particularly slowly; there's no other way to explain the range of just 100 kilometers.

Bugatti states the consumption of the Pur Sport as 25.19 liters per 100 kilometers.

With a 100 liter tank, this gives a range of almost 400 kilometers.

This number is mentioned again and again in the comments.

Many users take Marjanovic's consumption with humor:

  • “I can get ahead with the electric car.”

  • “Isn’t there an eco mode?

Turn off the climate, that could help!”

  • “That’s probably the last thing a Bugatti driver thinks about how much range he can achieve.”

  • “Full throttle 18 minutes”

Sports cars are expensive to maintain: maintenance prices are at the same level as new cars

And in fact, even with current fuel prices, consumption is probably the least of Marjanovic's worries.

It only becomes really expensive when the super sports car has to go to the workshop.

In the predecessor Veyron, just changing the ignition coil and spark plug costs almost as much as a new Opel Corsa with the basic equipment.

If an oil change is due, the Bugatti owner has to dig even deeper into his pockets: a whopping 20,000 euros are due.
