The Range Rover Evoque offers, in its elegant and modern guise, hybrid technology on tap which expands the electrified choice of the model with the P300e, which we drove in the rich Autobigraphy variant.

The class of the Range Rover is found intact in this car with compact dimensions that allow smooth driving even in the city.

    The aesthetic characteristics of the Evoque reflect the stylistic traits that contributed to its success: therefore we find the suspended roof, the high belt line, and that coupé-effect side profile, embellished by the presence of the retractable handles, which make the whole even more fluid and sculpted.

The front area gains the new grille, for a greater family feeling with the rest of the range, and features ultra-thin Pixel LED headlights with a jewel effect: each light unit contains 67 LEDs in 4 modules which adapt the lighting to the road conditions.

Furthermore, the Corinthian Bronze color further emphasizes the design of this SUV which fills the gaze with different details from every angle.

Inside the atmosphere is elegant and hi-tech, thanks to a refined, clean but personal style, and due to the quality materials used, while for the seats we find the wool blend fabric called Kvadrat, which represents an alternative luxurious to classic leather.

The most important innovation is represented by the presence of the latest variant of the Pivi pro infotainment system, which uses an 11.4-inch floating display that is quicker and more responsive in receiving commands and through which 80% of operations are carried out with 2 touches.

Worth noting is the convenience of the sidebars on the screen from which you can quickly access various functions.

There is no lack of wireless connectivity with the smartphone through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and, in the initial part of the central tunnel, there is the induction plate which allows you to always keep the phone with the ideal charge.

Furthermore, the camera system allows you to keep an eye on the car from every angle during manoeuvres, while the Amazon Alexa assistant reduces distractions while driving by offering the driver the possibility of using voice commands.

Driven by a plug-in hybrid power unit made up of a 1.5 3-cylinder engine coupled to an 80 kW electric engine and a 9-speed automatic transmission, for a total power of 309 HP, the Evoque P300e allows to travel in electric mode for 62 km, thanks to the 14.9 kWh battery, and proves to be high-performance in acceleration, as demonstrated by the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h covered in 6.4 seconds.

With a full battery, consumption is below 2l/100km, while when the battery runs out, you can travel around 16km/l;

CO2 emissions are limited as demonstrated by the figure declared by the company of 31 g/km.

To fill up on energy, the Evoque P300e offers the possibility of using direct current charging stations, as standard, to recharge in just 30 minutes at a maximum power of 50 kW, while with a 7 kW home battery charger, the operation is completed in about two hours.

    The ride is fluid, with the car quick to respond to power requests, and the suspension capable of effectively dampening any roughness.

Driving comfort is high, even at an acoustic level, with the car perfectly isolated from the external environment.

Furthermore, with Terrain Response 2, accessible via Pivi Pro, it is possible to manage the vehicle settings based on the driving environment, choosing between Eco, Comfort, Grass-Gravel-Snow, Mud-Ruts, Sand, Dynamic and Automatic.

Finally, there is no shortage of latest generation driving aids, to provide the driver with maximum support during the journey, further increasing active safety.

The P300e variant in Autobiography trim has a base price of 84,300 euros, but the list of accessories, although the equipment is quite complete, is very extensive, in order to satisfy even the most demanding customers.
