A new Instagram page, inspired by the "Eva's Story" initiative, will present documentation of the October 7 massacre in order to remind the world of the horrors of that day.
On the page, under the title "Holiday Horror Story", the civil information headquarters is responsible, which collaborates with Yona Wiesenthal, who produced the project commemorating the Holocaust on the social network, which gained enormous circulation around the world.
The aim of the creators is to appeal to audiences that Israel has difficulty reaching - with an emphasis on American youth.
The first story on the list will be uploaded this Thursday in the morning.
"Right from the beginning of the work, it was clear to us that despite the similarity to Ava's story - this is a completely different project. There were no social networks in the Holocaust, while the horrors of 7.10 were recorded and broadcast live for all to see. Together we created a historical documentary document that illustrates the dimensions of the disaster," he explained Eliav Batito, head of the civil information headquarters.
"Precisely in these days when we are witnessing the denial of the events of Shabbat in October and the acts of rape and atrocities that took place, we must share with the world and remind them what really happened."
"For too many years, we have been active in the front of information in front of the young audience as we have been in front of the adult audience, but it is not working," emphasized Batito.
"We must realize that around the world young people are exposed to uncontrolled content that includes 'fake news' and therefore there is a real difficulty in promoting the Israeli narrative. The best way to reach the youth is through the language they speak and the networks they use."

The project "Eva's Story" tried to demonstrate through Instagram the experiences of a Jewish girl in the Holocaust.
The project sparked an extensive public debate, reaching more than 300 million views worldwide.
Wiesenthal, one of the people behind "The Story of Eva", chose to manage the current project as well.
"We have been working on this project for several months. Ever since I was contacted by the civil information headquarters - I immediately got involved in the issue," he says.
"The biggest challenge we faced all along was the question of how to reach those young people in the United States who do not understand what is happening here. Through comprehensive and focused investigative work, we collected countless materials and documents and created a unique Instagram story from them that reflects the events of that day."
