Three days after the arrest, in Morocco, of the alleged leader of the Yoda clan, it is the turn of the rival gang, DZ Mafia, to be hit by the police.
Thirteen alleged members of this gang involved in Marseille drug trafficking and in the bloody war which led to the death in 2023 of 49 people, including 4 collateral victims, and 123 others injured, were placed in police custody on Monday, as revealed by France Inter.
According to our information, six members of the DZ Mafia were arrested in Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône), Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine) and in the department of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, and seven others, already incarcerated , were extracted from their cells.
These police custody “comes after fourteen months of intensive and meticulous investigation, illustration of the excellent Franco-Spanish police and judicial cooperation”, according to a press release from Nicolas Bessone, the public prosecutor of Marseille.
