“The fracture [of the skull] has no responsibility for the death of this child,” explained this Tuesday March 12 Caroline Rey-Salmon, expert pediatrician, at the Paris Assize Court, where the father and Louna's grandfather.
She was two months old when she died, in Paris in 2017. When she returned from work, in Paris (20th century), on the evening of February 27, 2017, her mother called the firefighters, worried about her daughter's moans.
Louna died after six days of coma at Necker hospital, where examinations revealed “shaken baby” syndrome and a skull fracture, which, the pediatrician explained, were not accidental.
