Piaggio Fast Forward, the group company dedicated to robotics, presents Kilo, dedicated to the world of factories, a robotic platform with a load capacity of up to 130 kilos which, thanks to sensors and 4D radar, can follow the operator, move autonomously and follow over 100 stored paths .

"Our robotic technology is empowering the workforce around the world, with the possibility of using the most innovative software tools to manage the human-robot relationship" explains Greg Lynn, CEO of Piaggio Fast Forward.


    “From manufacturing to any sector that relies on the repetitive movement of goods, such as campuses or manufacturing plants, PFF's autonomous technology allows our robots to move safely with and around workers in complex environments, streamlining flows and increasing productivity,” he explains Lynn.


    A first application of kilo, which debuts at Modex, the main American trade fair in the supply chain sector, will be in the Mandello del Lario production plant, within the new Moto Guzzi production lines to facilitate and support operators' manoeuvres.

The use of kilo is also planned in the group's other production centers in Italy, India, Vietnam and Indonesia.
