The new showroom, service and delivery in Netanya/Tesla Israel
When the first recipients of the cars made by Tesla were invited to pick up their cars from Ashdod port exactly three years ago in March 2021 it was strange.
People raised an eyebrow, some even laughed at the sight of the "stand" under a temporary gazebo and tent, with bottles of water and a box of cookies in a dusty parking lot.
Since then, the business has changed its face and the "ceremony" has become a kind of section of the company's customers, which, contrary to what is customary in the industry, has delivered 17,000 cars so far, without a permanent central showroom.
But it was clear to everyone that this would not really remain the case and indeed after months of preparations, the manufacturer announces today the opening of a service, display and delivery center in Netanya.
The place joins the manufacturer's service centers in Petah Tikva and Karmiel and the Tesla store in the Cinema City mall in Rishon Lezion, which replaced pop-up activities in the Ramat Aviv mall and the Ayalon mall in Ramat Gan.

The showroom itself has been opened and the service center will start operating in the coming weeks and will join the remote repair service for handling software malfunctions and the repair service by a set of mobile technicians operated by the manufacturer for repairs that do not require coming to the garage.
Besides the new service center, the company announces that it will soon open its 23rd supercharger station in Israel and this one will be located in Karmiel.
With its opening, Tesla will have the largest ultra-fast charging network (up to 250 kW) in Israel, although this is still available only to the company's customers and not open to all electric car owners as in several other countries.
