A month after the surprising death of the singer Lior Farhi at the age of 53, "Ya binti" is released, the last song that Farhi wrote and dedicated to his daughter and includes the words "This is a father who is always here for you, this is a father who will never leave".
The song was written for his nine-year-old daughter Talia, and it was planned to be released on her birthday last October.
Following the October 7 massacre and the Gaza war, the release of the song was postponed several times.
Today, on the thirtieth anniversary of his death, it was announced on behalf of his family that "in his will he asked to continue to exist through his songs - and so we will."

The career of Farhi, one of the favorite singers in the Mediterranean, began in the 80s, when he was still a teenager.
He released his first album, "Like a Silent Stone", at the beginning of 1995, and since then he has recorded about ten more albums that have been a great success.
Over the years, he wrote and composed songs for Sharit Haddad ("Sea of Love"), Eyal Golan ("I was created for you"), Zahava Ben ("Tell me baby"), Fini Haddad ("Coming home") and more, and sang duets with Shlomo Groenich and Yafa greenish
The hit most associated with him is "Beware of Her", which was initially released in 2005 and later had a successful revival together with Subliminal.
In 2008 he released the album "Electricity in the Air".
The theme song he wrote together with Rami Lev became a hit.
In the last decade, he recorded a very successful remake of the song "Guardian of the Walls", including a lot of recording over the years of cover versions that received a lot of love.
In recent years he has not stopped recording, and he released one of his last songs, the duet "My Word" together with Zohar Ya'ish, about six months ago.
Farhi was divorced and the father of three children.
