The Avenger family has in fact expanded with the arrival in the range of the e-Hybrid version, which retains all the design details of the already successful Jeep model and which aims to establish itself as an access point to electrification in the brand's way of the Stellantis group.

    The main innovation of the hybrid version of the Jeep Avenger is the powertrain based on a 48 Volt mild-hybrid system capable of offering an experience almost similar to a full-hybrid engine.

A 100 HP combustion engine is combined with a 21 kW electric motor integrated into a 6-speed dual clutch automatic transmission and a 48 Volt belt-driven starter generator.


    The result, even during the tests that ANSA Motori had the opportunity to carry out on the off-road tracks of the Balocco test center, as well as on the road, is a smooth ride and uncommon off-road capabilities for a 'normal' 2WD.

The 0.9 kWh lithium-ion battery is housed under the driver's seat, without any reduction in space in the passenger compartment, which remains identical to that of the petrol Jeep Avenger.


    The entire 48-volt hybrid system weighs just 60 kg more than a conventional automatic transmission.

In this way the total weight of the new Jeep Avenger e-Hybrid is limited to 1,280 kg.

The new Jeep Avenger e-Hybrid boasts a ground clearance of over 200 mm, an approach angle of 20°, a breakover angle of 20° and a departure angle of 34°, testifying to the off-road DNA of Jeep always intact.


    In total, there are six driving modes available, of which three are for city driving and long distances (Normal-Eco-Sport), and the same number specifically designed for off-road adventures (Sand-Mud-Snow) .

Plus there is Hill Descent Control, which reduces the risk of skidding and losing control of the car on steep and difficult slopes.


    Longitude is the starting setup of the new Jeep Avenger e-Hybrid, with 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control and everything you need in terms of safety.

Moving up, there's the Altitude trim, for a higher quality with added style and comfort, with 17-inch alloy wheels, premium seats and additional features such as the 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster and adaptive cruise control .

Finally, the Summit trim level, the pinnacle of the range in terms of content, style and equipment.


    As for the price list, the Longitude version of the new Jeep Avenger e-Hybrid, available in dealerships from the end of April, starts at a price of 26,000 euros.
