Can the passenger reserve a parking space?

Parking lot, underground car park or city center?
Sometimes many drivers are looking for a parking space for their vehicle at the same time.
If a gap is discovered, some people use their passenger to reserve the parking space.
But is this allowed or even prohibited according to the road traffic regulations (StVO)?
In brief, the following rules apply when parking, as “ERGO” writes:
Parking space is prohibited
Whoever gets there first parks first
The best entry position has priority
Consideration and mutual understanding
No coercion of passers-by

Blocking parking spaces is prohibited.
Pedestrians are not allowed to reserve parking spaces for drivers.
Waving over is allowed, but not making a reservation so that no other driver can pull into the parking space.
If this rule is ignored, a fine of ten euros will be due, as “Bußgeldkatalog” writes.
Also: First come, first served.
This applies not only when parking forwards, but also when parking backwards.
So pushing forward is not allowed.

However, if both drivers arrived at the parking space at the same time and it cannot be determined who was there first, the position applies.
The better entry position has priority.
In principle, however, the following applies: consideration and mutual understanding are recommended.
Having to worry about parking spaces is not recommended.
Who has the right of way in the supermarket parking lot – pedestrians or drivers?
If someone is standing in the parking space, drivers should politely ask passers-by to vacate the parking space.
If the person does not react, you are allowed to move in slowly, as “ERGO” writes.
But you have to be careful about coercion; the passer-by must not be endangered or frightened.
