The star of "Neighbors Neighbors",
Caitlin Stacey
, made a surprising career change after playing in the successful soap opera - and moved to porn.
The 33-year-old actress shot to fame on the iconic Australian soap when she played Rachel Kinski when she was just 14. She starred in the series for three years before announcing she was leaving to finish high school and explore new directions.
Her last scene in the series was in March 2009. To give Caitlin the opportunity to return to "Neighbours Next Door", the producers decided not to kill Rachel's character and instead sent her to study in London.
After the Australian actress graduated, she continued her acting career and received a variety of significant acting roles in Hollywood and Australia, such as the horror comedy "All Cheerleaders Die", "I, Frankenstein" alongside Bill Nye and Aaron Eckhart, "Reign" of The American CW network,
and the legal drama series "For the Common Good" produced by Shonda Rhimes.
In the last three years alone, Stacey starred in the horror film "Smile", which brought in over 217 million dollars at the box office, and in the series "Please Love Me", which won a loving audience for its four seasons and aired in Israel on Netflix (and also Bis under the name "Get Me"), "Bridge and Tunnel" Edward Burns' gift, Amazon Prime Video's great "Graduate 2007", as well as a five-episode guest role in the subsidiary series of "Children of Anarchy" - "The Maya Gang".

However, in 2021, Caitlin decided on a career change and announced that she was stepping down from her acting career to work in the adult film industry.

Last year she spoke openly about what it feels like to work in the adult industry.
She told the I've Got News for You podcast: "The content is pretty intense, but it works just like any other set. The sets tend to be really inclusive. There are a lot of women," she said, "In fact, I think there are more female directors in porn than In film and television. When you're an actress you don't have much control, but when you're the director, you're the judge. You decide."

Caitlin Stacey is today a director of porn films/documentaries on social networks according to Article 27 A of the Copyright Law
She also revealed how she found inspiration for a female-only porn film from perfume commercials aired on television.
Caitlin said: "You know, every time you watch a perfume ad and you're like, 'This doesn't make sense!'
It feels like the ads are written by an algorithm from another planet. They're always so sexy and it always feels like sex is going to happen any second. They're all sniffing each other's necks and licking each other's wrists," she laughed.
Caitlin added: "So I came up with the idea of a perfume ad that turns into a trio of women."
Caitlin also spoke about how the adult industry was the ideal place to hone her writing and directing skills.
She previously told Contents: "I want to be a better director and learn how to make things that look good and feel good - so that one day I'll learn to do the opposite."
She explained: "You know, real cinema that has no joy in it! Porn is a great place to become a professional."

In the Australian media they say that Caitlin is in a relationship with the television producer, Erin Murphy-Muscatelli.
While it's unclear how long they've been together, Erin and Kaitlyn have been seen together in public since 2021. The two look close in their photos, with Kaitlyn sharing an incredibly sweet Valentine's Day post on Instagram last year, where the two are seen celebrating their love.
