The investigating chamber of the Rennes Court of Appeal kept in pre-trial detention, this Friday, March 15, a young official from the Saint-Brieuc police station (Côtes-d'Armor).
Pierre P., a former salesman who became an assistant police officer since June 2022, was indicted on January 29: passionate about urbex – an urban exploration activity consisting of visiting abandoned places – he allegedly indicated to a young thief who “fascinated” that a house was uninhabited following the death of its occupant, after having visited it himself.
This is how the Citroën C3 and the deceased's bank card were stolen.
The police officer was released under judicial supervision for the first time, on February 16, by the same investigating chamber... But was immediately reincarcerated: twenty-four hours after his release from prison, a work colleague he had seen in the evening in an “extremely busy” bar in Saint-Brieuc when he had to respect a curfew as part of his judicial control.
