Highlights: The woman says she was raped by her stepfather when she was a child. The woman, who is now in her 60s, says she is still haunted by the incident. She says: "It all never ends. There are mornings (where) getting up and making coffee is the end of the world" The woman says that her sister helped her when she became worried about her health. She also says that she has never been able to forgive the man who raped her as a young girl.

The 61-year-old singer and actress reveals in a forthcoming interview that her mother's partner abused her when she was a child.

Two years ago, Lio said she was raped at the age of 10, by “a relative of the family” whose name she did not give.

This time, the singer and actress names someone else whom she accuses of having abused her when she was a child: her stepfather, the musicologist Alberto Nogueira, with whom her mother lived since she was very young and who is the father of his sister Helena Noguerra, seven years his junior.

In an interview with Max magazine, which comes out on Saturday in Belgium, Lio questions herself: “Why am I so suspicious, that I have so many firewalls, that I prepare like a krav maga fight every time I go outside?

Understand… My life is a daily struggle.

There are mornings (where) getting up and making coffee is the end of the world.

Because a childhood with an incestuous stepfather – I'm not afraid to say it today – also distanced me from my sister, because my stepfather is her father.

It all never ends.”

“It never ends”

The two women, however, seemed very close.

Beaten by the father of her twin daughters around twenty years ago, the sixty-year-old said she was saved by her sister.

“She helped me a lot.

She saw that my behavior was changing (…) she got worried, she moved, she called,” she said in 2018.

In March 2022, the interpreter of the tangy hits whose lightness or ambiguity she may have regretted, told Télé Loisirs of having “been raped by a close relative of the family when I was 10 years old in the back of the car of my parents.

Digitally.

Quietly, while my parents drove, next to my little sister who was 3 years old.

No one has ever called it rape and I realized two years ago that I was raped.

I put that word on it.

And nothing has been going well since then,” she confided to the TV magazine, on the occasion of the release of a TV film where she played a lawyer specializing in the defense of abused women.

Regarding her state of mind, the one who always seemed to display the biggest smile, slips today to Max that “it is only on this very small part that I agree with Christine Angot: we manages ".
