There are now 14 suspects to be indicted in the investigation into the murder of Thomas Perotto during a ball in Crépol (Drôme) on the night of November 18 to 19, 2023. But if these young men, all minors or young adults, the vast majority admitted their presence in the village on the night of the tragedy, all deny having inflicted the fatal stab wounds on the young 16-year-old rugby player.
Reason why the justice system has retained, at this stage, widespread prosecutions for “homicide and attempted homicide by an organized gang”.
Five new suspects were thus indicted between Thursday and Friday, following the search launched Monday by the gendarmes of the Grenoble research section in Romans-sur-Isère (Drôme) and the surrounding area.
Six were released without charges against them.
