A 13-year-old teenager died Saturday afternoon after feeling unwell during a football match in Sens (Yonne), announced the District de l'Yonne de Football sports association, confirming information from France Bleu Auxerre.

The young player from Onze Saint-Clément was taking part in a match against Jeunesse Sénonaise, in the U15 category (under 15 years old), when in the middle of the match, he complained of chest pain.

Immediately leaving the Fosse aux Cows field in Sens, the boy collapsed a few minutes later.
