Cédric, a 45-year-old man, was stabbed to death on Saturday evening, in the parking lot of the Super U store in Onet-le-Château (Aveyron), in front of his 13-year-old son and his partner Virginie, 49 years old. .
He received five stab wounds to the chest.
The alleged attacker, taken into custody shortly after the incident, was indicted for murder, we learned this Monday from the Montpellier public prosecutor's office.
Aged 23, the suspect called Bradley was arrested during the day on Saturday, not far from the supermarket.
A weapon in his possession was seized.
“The accused was presented today to the Montpellier public prosecutor's office which requested the opening of a judicial investigation for murder, attempted murder, deliberate endangering of others and intentional violence committed with a weapon by a person in a state of “drunkenness,” said Montpellier prosecutor Fabrice Bélargent.
“The placement in pre-trial detention of the accused was requested,” he added.

According to witnesses mentioned by the local press, an altercation broke out on Saturday around 7 p.m. between the couple and the motorist.
Cédric would have intervened because the motorist was swerving in the parking lot.
The driver then allegedly physically attacked the parents and stabbed the father.
Cédric's wife, also attacked
The alleged murderer, known to the police, stabbed Cédric five times before fleeing, according to a police source.
He also hit the victim's wife, slightly injuring her in the chest, according to the same source.
The couple's son, who was also present, was not injured.
Shortly after, the driver of the van was arrested and taken into custody by the police, even though he had just “hit motorists a few kilometers from the supermarket”, according to the Rodez public prosecutor's office.
He was then transferred to the criminal division of the Montpellier judicial court.

“He is a child who grew up without a framework when I separated from his father and who took refuge in drugs and alcohol.
He suffered violence from his father but that in no way explains his actions.
