The spotlight is finally on the Q6 e-Tron, the first series Audi model based on the new Premium Platform Electric (PPE) electric platform developed with Porsche) which becomes the reference point for the category in terms of autonomy, up to 625 km, and charging power, up to 270 kW.
Offered from July with prices starting from 79,500 euros, the Audi Q6 e-Tronic Quattro will be available in two variants of 387 HP and 517 HP (the latter called SQ6) both with electric all-wheel drive and a 100 kWh 800 Volt battery .
In detail, the 387 HP Audi Q6 eT Quattro can count on 535 Nm of torque, a value that allows a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and a maximum speed of 210 km/h.
The sporty Audi SQ6 e-Tron Quattro variant offers 820 Nm in boost mode, which translates into 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and a top speed (where there are no limits) of 230 km/h .
Following the launch, two rear-wheel drive variants will debut: a long range powertrain and an entry-level powertrain.
Thanks to the 800 Volt voltage and DC charging power of up to 270 kW (standard), the Audi Q6 e-Tronic Quattro can restore up to 255 km of range in ten minutes at an HPC station and the state of charge (SoC ) goes from 10% to 80% in 21 minutes.
Predictive thermal management and the Plug & Charge function contribute to this progress in charging operations.
At the Ionity and Ewiva charging stations, the Q6 e-Tronic obtain authorization automatically when the charging cable is inserted without the need for any card or App.
Technological records relating to the electrical section, in the new Q6 e-Tron They are accompanied by a passenger compartment strongly characterized by the innovative 'digital stage' and the marked digitalisation of functions of which the voice command managed by artificial intelligence is the central element.
In fact, the new E3 1.2 electronic architecture is present (E3 is the acronym for End-to-End Electronic Architecture) which uses five High-Performance Computing Platform (HCP) that control all the vehicle's functions.
The E3 1.2 architecture - which is characterized by extraordinary calculation speed and which makes the application of artificial intelligence possible - forms the basis for the digitalisation of future Audi models.
With this solution the car can take advantage of the new infotainment of the Android Automotive OS operating system.
There are also new features in the premium services intended to make the use of a full electric car safe and comfortable.
The first in particular is the 'on demand on location' charging service provided by E-Gap with its 100% electric vans.
E-Gap provides charging in fast mode and in any area of the cities covered by the service during work, a dinner, a concert or at any time you wish.
The customer is freed from the need to look for a charging station and connect his Q6 e-Tron to it.
If it were then necessary to undertake a long journey - for example for holidays - perhaps to an area not yet adequately served by the charging infrastructure, the new e-Tron Switch service.
