After the shocking declarations of Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès' sister, it is the turn of other relatives to react.
The family of Agnès Dupont de Ligonnès, wife of Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès, formulated in a press release on Sunday "the most express reservations on the declarations of Christine de Ligonnès and her husband, particularly insofar as the judicial information is still in progress.

Agnès Dupond de Ligonnès was found dead in 2011, killed with her four children.
Her husband, the main suspect in this quintuple murder, has since disappeared.
Some believe he is dead, others think he is still alive, on the run somewhere.

Christine de Ligonnès goes even further.
In an interview at the beginning of March on France 2, she developed her theory on the occasion of the release of her book on the affair.
She and her husband believe in the innocence of the main suspect and believe that the bodies found of his wife and children are only a “staged image”.
For them, the family had to flee and lives in hiding because of the work that Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès would have carried out for French intelligence.
“In his letter, Xavier clearly tells me that he has been doing intelligence for years.
Something I can't verify, but which speaks to me.
Because for years, I really had questions,” Christine de Ligonnès told France 2.

Agnès' family, "whose pain there is no need to recall", has "been a civil party since 2011", recalls the press release.
Until then, she “has always refused to make any statement on the merits of the Ligonnès affair”, but wanted to react “because of the current media coverage” caused by the comments of Christine de Ligonnès.
“It is up to the judicial and police authorities, in whom Agnès' family has always trusted, to respond to the allegations of Ligonnès' family if they consider it appropriate,” adds the press release.
