Demon Slayer: Frozen Empire Trailer/Sony Films
30 years after the first "Demon Slayer" Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray return to protect New York from evil, and this time fear of a new ice age.
And when a message about this is distributed by Mercedes, it is evidence that, unlike the original film where the crew drove in a spectacular 1959 Cadillac that was originally an ambulance, this time there was a marketing content deal that allowed the producers to raise more money for a modern vehicle whose sales the film is supposed to promote.
So in "Demon Slayer - Frozen Empire" the team will travel alongside the Cadillac, known as the Acto-1, also in a new Mercedes Sprinter, which received the nickname Eco-Z.
Externally, it looks like any Sprinter that has driven you or your packages, except for the Ghost stickers on Satters.
Inside there is more room for demon traps, laser guns and everything a demon hunter needs for a day's work.
The old Cadillac that will continue to star alongside the new Sprinter/Mercedes
"The Sprinter is the perfect companion for our new Demon Slayer engineering team. How else are they going to haul a bunch of proton packs around New York City, and do it in style?" said Gil Kenna, the film's director and lead writer.
The Cadillac, which really has style, was upgraded with technology that was unknown in 1984: this time it is able to launch a drone that takes off from its roof, and can capture demons.
The film will once again star Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray, alongside a young team led by Paul Rudd.
Although in the USA it will hit the screens next week, it will not reach us until April.

Content Marketing/Sony Films Deal
Reminder: In the first Back to the Future shoot, director Robert Zemeckis fought the producers' attempt to return Michael G. Fox and Christopher Lloyd to 1955 in a Ford Mustang for a manufacturer's fee, insisting that their time machine be a De Lorraine.
The decision cost them money, but helped turn the failed sports car manufacturer, and the entire film, into a legend.
