Household appliances, perfumes, surfboards, socks… end of the game for Karim B, the cargo theft eel

A particularly careful freight thief, the thirty-year-old had been evading the police for months.

It's over, luck has turned in favor of the authorities.

Karim B, 32 years old, and four accomplices, aged around thirty, were arrested, Sunday and Monday in Combs-la-Ville (Seine-et-Marne) and Quincy-sous-Sénart (Essonne), by the investigators from the territorial crime division, supported by their colleagues from the BRI (research and intervention brigade) in Versailles (Yvelines).

This team of specialists, mainly from Épinay-sous-Sénart (Essonne), is suspected of having, since the summer of 2023 in the Paris region, in the North and in Pas-de-Calais, committed six trailer thefts and an attempt to cause damage that could reach several million euros.
