At the wheel, one finds the innovative practicality of the E-Power system, the plug-free electric system, represented by a power unit composed of a 204 HP electric engine, through which the energy for movement is sent to the front wheels, and by a 1.5 3-cylinder petrol engine used to power the electric unit and the battery housed in the lower part of the floor, for a system power of up to 213 HP and 525 Nm of maximum torque.
With 4-Orce all-wheel drive, the car gains a second 136 HP electric motor at the rear, which sends power to the rear axle.
Furthermore, with this system, the X-Trail acts instantly on each individual wheel to always offer the best traction.
Driving, therefore, is safe, with a constant grip of the car on the asphalt, and even in difficult conditions, or on rough terrain, the Japanese SUV manages to master the situation.
The only limit, in the city, is represented by clutter.

Obviously, it takes advantage of the particularity of the E-Power system, so you fill up at the petrol station rather than at the charging stations, and on average you travel about 16 km with 1 liter of petrol, while in the city you can get around 20km/l.
A modest car, despite its size and the brilliance underlined by the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 7 seconds flat.
The dynamic picture is completed by a large presence of driving aids which, through the pro-Pilot button on the steering wheel, are called into action to work in synergy.
