Almost a year after the death of Ruben Azoulay, a young real estate agent, a 27-year-old man was indicted on Friday in Paris for murder by an organized gang and criminal association, before being imprisoned.
This boy, with brown hair and a goatee, is suspected of being an accomplice in the murder of the young man, shot and killed on May 24, 2023 on the Boulevard de Courcelles (17th century), in conditions worthy of an execution.
But the hypothesis that holds the string would be that of a target error, because the profile of the victim, aged 31, does not really fit with this expedition.
“The motive, which seems to be a matter of money against a backdrop of drug trafficking, has not been formally uncovered by the investigations.
But shortly before the events, a man linked to organized crime and arrested shortly after was in the agency,” notes a source close to the case.
This man, Olivier S., 41 years old, known as “Paulo”, provided small services to Ruben and served as his driver.
The forty-year-old had been indicted in a vast drug importation case between Paris and Marseille.
