From Guyana this Monday, the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron was questioned about the attack which hit Moscow on Friday, and left at least 137 dead.
He said the Islamic State group, which claimed responsibility for the attack, "had carried out several attempts on our own soil in recent months."
This group “attempted several times to touch French soil,” he repeated.
It is for this reason that the level of the Vigipirate plan was increased in France.
“The claim for the Moscow attack comes from the Islamic State in Khorasan.
However, this organization threatens France and has been involved in several recent foiled attack plans in several European countries, including Germany and France,” Matignon had already clarified on Sunday.
