Daimler Truck has surpassed the sale of one million trucks and buses connected to the Internet.

The goal achieved in the world by the brands of the German group, which includes among others Mercedes-Benz, Fuso, Setra and Freightliner, in addition to leading to greater levels of safety, proven by facts means a transmission of over 7,000 messages per second and of approximately 23.7 million telemetries per month.


Connectivity applied to heavy vehicles allows the diffusion of digital products that improve the efficiency, productivity, safety, fleet management and, ultimately, the sustainability of trucking activities.


Connected services include remote on-board software update products that reduce the need for visits to the workshop, diagnosing and updating vehicles while they are in the field, at times most convenient for users.
