Michelin are the tires chosen by Peugeot to exclusively equip the new Peugeot 3008 and E-3008 sold in Europe.
In the hybrid version as well as in the 100% electric version, the cars in the Peugeot 3008 range will be equipped with tailor-made tires designed to guarantee safety, energy efficiency and mileage.
Michelin engineers have worked for three years on developing the tire ranges for the future Peugeot 3008 and E-3008 to meet expectations in terms of safety in dry and wet conditions but also on criteria such as mileage and energy efficiency .
“The electric vehicle is changing many paradigms when it comes to tires – said Philippe Jacquin, vice president of tire development for cars and commercial vehicles at Michelin – because it increases the level of stress on the tires on multiple criteria simultaneously, which represents a challenge for our engineers. We took these elements into account in our development process."
To meet the needs of all versions of the new Peugeot 3008 and E-3008, three ranges of tires are available, two summer and one all-season, for 19 and 20 inch wheels.
Michelin e.Primacy is the first Michelin tire designed with its entire life cycle in mind and will be available in 3 sizes: 235/50 R 20 104V, 235/55 R 19 105V and 225/55 R 19 103V.
Michelin CrossClimate 2 SUV, on the other hand, is the solution for motorists looking for peace of mind behind the wheel, regardless of weather conditions and in any season.
This tire offers the advantages of summer tires, both in dry and wet braking, as well as the performance of winter tires in terms of traction and braking in winter conditions.
Pilot Sport 4 Suv is the name chosen by Michelin for the high-performance tire that combines safety and mileage.
Thanks to its high responsiveness in changes of direction and its driving precision, it offers excellent response to the steering wheel.
It is available in size 235/50 R 20 104V.
The 3 ranges of tires intended for the new 3008 will be entirely produced in the European factories of the Michelin group, including the Italian one in Cuneo, the largest Michelin factory in Western Europe.
