The judge of the 17th criminal chamber of the Paris judicial court hears someone crying profusely after the judgment is delivered.
She scans the room and identifies Laura Rapp, in the third row... "Sorry Ms. Rapp, I didn't look around the room enough to see if you were there, would you like to come to the stand?"

The young woman, 36 years old, slim figure, jeans, sneakers and long brown hair, gets up and tries to wipe the mascara running down her cheeks.

And the court considered that Mr [C.] had abused his right to take legal action.

It was her former spouse, convicted of attempted murder in 2019 by the Assize Court of Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine), who initiated this action for defamation, for passages from the testimony book of the young woman, published in 2021 by Éditions Michalon.
