Little by little, the gray areas dissipate.
Several hours after the spectacular collapse of a bridge in Baltimore (United States), struck by a container ship, the investigators' first hypotheses pointed to a technical damage to the ship.
It was 1:28 a.m. (local time) on Monday when the cargo ship “Dali” – 300 m long and 48 m wide – collided with one of the pillars of the Francis-Scott-Key metal road bridge, which guards the entrance to Baltimore harbor.
In the images, we can see the building collapse under the violence of the shock.
According to a provisional report, six people who were on the bridge at the time of the collision were still being sought in port waters.
Two of them were recovered alive on Tuesday.
