This past weekend, Dodge Europe made its debut as an official WorldSBK car at the Catalunya GP, kicking off its partnership for the 2024 season.
For the 2024 collaboration, Dodge Europe is providing a fleet of five models to high performance vehicles featuring an exclusive WorldSBK livery specially designed for the partnership, performing several functions.
Two Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcats, equipped with a 717 HP 6.2-liter Hemi V8 engine, will take on the role of official Safety Cars.
A Dodge Durango SRT, with a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine producing 475 HP, and a Dodge Durango Hellcat SUV, with a 6.2-liter Hemi V8 engine producing 710 HP will instead act as Race Direction and FIM Safety Officer for the official cars.
All models are series cars, without special modifications, ready to tackle all complex operations.
Also during the weekend, the American brand was also the protagonist during the awards ceremonies after each race, through three sources of visibility such as the Dodge brand displayed on the top step of the podium, the 'product on track' advertising billboards and with a third Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye as static Expo Car next to the podium.
"We are pleased to begin this partnership with WorldSBK - commented Matt McAlear, senior vice president of Dodge sales and marketing - for a collaboration built on common and shared values and which allows us to reach an audience in tune with our brand. Power, determination and love for adrenaline are values that have always been the basis of Dodge, which also distinguish the Superbike World Championship and its fans."
