The mobility revolution must include, with ever greater and usable inclusiveness, also people with disabilities.
"Today the right to travel must be guaranteed, but also to autonomy for people with disabilities - said Alessandra Locatelli, Minister for Disabilities on the occasion of the 2024 edition of the #ForumAutoMotive in Milan - For this reason it is conceivable that technological innovation work together with the institutions to ensure this right".
"The concept of mere welfare must be overcome, through the valorisation of individual people".
Alessandra Locatelli recalled that "there is a bill, approved in the Chamber and which I hope will soon be scheduled for the Senate, which intends to break some patterns which, alongside treatment, recognize the importance of starting a series of activities which allow us to bring self-esteem, moments of leisure and motivate less fortunate people".
"This allows us to make the therapies carried out in our structures even more effective. Motorcycle therapy is one of these activities. We will bring inclusion as a theme to the G7".
