A tribute to the singer and TikToker Anaïs Robin, who died last weekend in a car accident, is planned for this Friday in Comines, in the North, according to several local media. The gathering, which will begin at 5 p.m. in the city's public garden, was initiated by a friend of the young woman, originally from the neighboring town of Cysoing. A white march is also planned in his memory on Sunday in Villeneuve-d'Ascq.

The announcement of the death of the singer, killed at just 21 years old by a road accident in Baisieux, during the night from Friday to Saturday, particularly moved the inhabitants of the region, but also thousands of Internet users. The young woman was in fact particularly famous on TikTok, where she had more than 500,000 subscribers and accumulated millions of views. She became known in particular with her title “Un Autre”, the clip of which has been viewed more than 2.3 million times on YouTube.

Since her death, tributes have multiplied online, and a friend of the young woman, also present on social networks, decided to organize a gathering in her memory this Friday in Comines. “In view of the emotion aroused by this event among young people, including those from Comin, the mayor accepted this request,” the city of Comines confirmed to La Voix du Nord. The town hall was, however, unable to authorize a white march, due to the current strengthening of the Vigipirate system, according to BFMTV Lille.

A new single revealed on Saturday

According to the media, Anaïs Robin's family, including her twin brother Elliot, who regularly appeared in her videos and himself a Tiktokeur, did not specify whether they would be present during this tribute. A minute of silence will be observed and the singer's latest single will be broadcast.

For its part, its label Gabs & Jo announced a white march on Sunday at the Asnapio park in Villeneuve-d'Ascq, from 3 p.m. “Let us be united to honor the memory of Anaïs Robin. (…) Together, let’s express our support for his family and continue to make our star shine,” he wrote in a story on his Instagram account.
