Mischievous eyes topped with a mop of blonde hair with this little dandelion flower placed on the left ear. Since July 8, this image of the carefree childhood had become that of worry, anguish, mystery: Émile, two and a half years old, little boy disappeared in a bucolic village, vanished into a postcard alley rocked by the runoff from a wash house.
Since that afternoon at the start of the summer vacation, everyone has wondered at least once, if not a thousand times, what could have happened to this little boy. Not just out of morbid curiosity. Simply because the disappearance of a child hits hard all those who have had this nightmare once in their life: that of their daughter, their son, their brother, their sister, their grand-grandfather. daughter or grandson who disappears, as if caught, simply because he escaped the attention of the older and older children for a few seconds or a few minutes. For little Émile's parents, this nightmare has become reality, coupled with the anguish of days passing without knowing.
