Shanon was going to celebrate her 14th birthday on April 5, with her twin brother, her parents and her two siblings. On this Easter Sunday, the inhabitants of Rantigny (Oise) are all discovering the drama that played out in their town. Many come out of the bakery with their arms full of chocolates and gather to tell the sad news to those who did not know it.
“Do you know about the girl’s death? How sad,” sighs this mother. “At first, we hadn’t heard of it. Here, everyone is very discreet, she confides. We live in Cauffry, the town next door. It was my daughter, who went to the same college as Shanon, who told me about it. There was a minute of silence in the establishment at the end of the week. Everyone is in pain. I can't imagine the family's pain. »
