A self-confessed pedophile, capable of describing in detail his three murders of children and the fifty sexual assaults he blames on himself, Martin Ney, 54, is presented by the expert psychiatrist who met him twice in May and June 2021 as “an intelligent, attentive, thoughtful, prudent man”. “It is also a rational, methodical, precise mind, at the cost of an appearance (…) overcontrolled or very mastered,” she adds.
Thus the German does not suffer from any psychiatric pathology and is criminally responsible for his actions. But stopping at this simple clinical observation would be infinitely simplistic to describe the profile of this methodical and narcissistic serial killer. “The subject presents (…) under a surface hypernormality and an ordinary appearance personality disorders (…) orienting towards a perverse organization of the personality overflowing towards an exclusive sexual deviance”, warns the practitioner who, at the end of her report very comprehensive, 55 pages long, paints a disturbing portrait.
