It was when Jimmy, a white Bichon Frize, died at the age of 16 that Ambre, a Parisian student, began looking for a new little companion, “an adaptable city dog”. She then inquired about Maltipoo breeding, a breed known for its good humor. “It’s done a lot in Italy, in Milan, in Canada, but not in France,” explains to Le Parisien the woman who studies at the Sorbonne.
She quickly arrived on a “very well referenced” website, called “Fripouilles poilus”. It offers Maltese, Chihuahua, Maltipoo, Pekingese, Toy Poodle and Shih Tzu puppies. L'Étoile du matin, which offers some of these dogs, says it is a “family breeder where love is the key word”. The home page specifies that it is a “serious breeder”, with “a prestigious production of purebred puppies with the most attractive colors”. For prices ranging from 700 to 750 euros.
